Description
Elektra è un film del 2005 diretto da Rob Bowman, ispirato all'omonimo personaggio creato da Frank Miller per i fumetti Marvel. La pellicola è uno spin-off del film Daredevil di Mark Steven Johnson, del quale appaiono alcune brevi sequenze.
Elektra, dopo essere stata uccisa da Bullseye (nel film Daredevil), viene resuscitata da Stick. Successivamente Stick prende Elektra tra i suoi allievi, ma la caccia via poco tempo dopo senza una spiegazione soddisfacente e lei per vendetta comincia la sua carriera di assassina a pagamento.
Riceve l'incarico di eliminare Mark Miller e sua figlia tredicenne Abby, che anche la setta della Mano, un gruppo di malvagi assassini, sta cercando. Senza volerlo, Elektra fa amicizia con Miller e la figlia e decide di proteggerli. Li conduce dal suo vecchio mentore Stick perché si prenda cura di loro. Ma Abby non vuole restare con Stick perché vuol vivere come una ragazzina normale.
Nel tentativo di permettere alla ragazzina di condurre una vita normale, Elektra stringe un accordo con la Mano per cui un combattimento con Kirigi deciderà il fato di Abby.
